Dr. Hughes Receives Implant Training in Puerto Rico

I (Dr. Hughes) have been traveling once a month to Puerto Rico to further my surgical training in dental implantology and oral reconstruction.  The time commitment is quite large, I'm in Perto Rico almost an entire week out of every month for 10 months!

Dr. Hughes and his team put a smile on my face. Due to my love for playing basketball, I fell and injured my two front teeth. After a root canal, and a few years, the gum or bone structure began to loosen, which led to my losing my two front teeth.

My sister attended a clinic that Dr. Hughes provided. She was seeking a dentist that could provide the very best treatment but yet understand my needs. After one visit, we knew Dr. Hughes was the dentist for me.

I did not know I was a grinder, let alone a sever grinder. Dr. Hughes was the only dentist out of three that thought my grinding was the reason the root canal failed. I think that I was a challenge for him, but after several visits, a splint, a temporary bridge and finally my permanent teeth, I can now smile with confidence. I love my new teeth.

The friendliness of the staff put me at ease, and now I can smile and say " Thank you Dr. Hughes it was worth the trips from Paducah to Herrin".

I feel I have more confidence. I am enjoying good health. I am better able to enjoy life due to my dental implants. Thanks to Dr. Hughes and staff."

Dr Hughes,
Thank you for the fine job on my teeth.  The most important thing to me was to avoid speech difficulties.  I am pleased to report there was no difficulty caused.  You did a great job.  Your staff was very helpful and made long trips to the dentist comfortable.
